A “flexitarian” or  “almost vegetarian.” is a person who eats lots of fruits, vegetables, nuts, and sticks to a vegetarian diet when ever possible, but  sometimes indulges in a barbecue or so.

Bio Beer Fights Cancer

Students from Houston’s Rice University have bio engineered a beer that has anticancer properties. This beer contains resveratrol, a chemical found in wine. This is  believed to be responsible for reduced cancer rates. This was seen in lab tests conducted recently.
The Bio-Beer project will compete in the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition to be held next month. Each team in iGEM uses Bio-Bricks, which are DNA tool kits, to create new life forms that does things that are decided at the formation stage.
