		<description>Nice article.  Found you on ezine articles.  Macro photography has always been a passion of mine.  Spent time shooting flower and insects over the years and produced some pretty cool images.  Never got down to the micro shooting.  Your article puts this in perspective and helps me and others understand the difference.  The lens is the thing I'd be interested in learning more about in terms of the ratios.  Good point on the point and shoot macro modes.  Can be a bit confusing for folks that think that the macro mode is a "true" macro setting.
